Bring a list of all medications you are currently taking. Please bring your insurance cards, a photo ID, and a method of payment.

BEFORE SURGERY

You must arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home after discharge from the Surgery Center. We strongly suggest that you arrange for a responsible adult to be with you for the first twenty-four (24) hours after your procedure for your protection and safety.

If there is any change in your physical condition, such as a cold or fever, please notify your doctor.

If you need to cancel your surgery, please notify your doctor's office as soon as you know that you cannot keep your appointment.

A nurse from the Surgery Center will call you regarding when to stop eating and drinking prior to your surgery. Refrain from smoking for at least twenty-four (24) hours before your procedure. Contact your physician's office or the Surgery Center regarding which of your medications to take the day of your procedure. If instructed to do so, take them with one small sip of water. You may be instructed to bring your medications with you. You may brush your teeth, but do not swallow any water.

If you have any questions, please contact the Surgery Center at (941) 924-9282 or use our contact form.
